Tale of the Tape: Gonzales vs. Stechschulte

Given jose's consistent critique of Bob Gonzales as this year's NL MVP (I think he used the word "disgust"), I offer a rejoinder sure to make the baseball statisticians happy. Below is a head-to-head comparison between Dustan Stechschulte and Bob Gonzales with respect to their position (1B vs. 2B). Since the voting is already over, I understand that this is rather trivial but it may help ease the boredom until rollover.

Using the average statistics for each position, I am able to generate comparisons of performance respective of their positions. Given jose's tendency to provide the raw numbers absent any context, here is an apples-to-apples comparison.

Draw your own conclusions from this, to quote jose once again, "painfully obvious analysis."
